SCIM

Automated user provisioning through SCIM isn't available yet.

SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) lets an identity provider automatically create, update, and deactivate accounts in a connected app whenever someone joins, changes role, or leaves your company directory.

Proliferate doesn't support SCIM yet. There's no SCIM endpoint, no bearer token to generate, and no provisioning connector to configure in your IdP.

Info:

SCIM is planned as part of a broader Enterprise identity tier alongside things like air-gapped and Kubernetes deployments. If SCIM provisioning is a requirement for your rollout, tell us and we'll factor it into the roadmap.

What to use instead today

Two things get you most of the way there without SCIM:

  • Single sign-on. Connect an OIDC identity provider so members authenticate with their company credentials. See SSO.
  • Manual invitations and roles. Invite teammates by email or share your organization's join link, then assign the owner, admin, or member role. See Members & groups.

Deprovisioning today means removing the member directly from Members when someone leaves. SSO sign-in doesn't automatically remove access when a user is disabled at the identity provider.
